Was just on on the U... Talked at length about our defense, Dak, and schedule. Us and Houston(O'Korn) were the two programs they singled out for the role...

Spent several minutes of the show talking about us overall. Also called it Dan's biggest year in Starkville because of expectations that are creeping in...

If journalists did their job we wouldn't be "under the radar". We won't get in preseason AP 25 but many writers will quickly realize how incompetent they are after a few weeks into the season.

Most reporters are like this: "OLE MISS 2013 SIGNING CLASS ELITE!!!!!! DARKHORSE NATIONAL TITLE CONTENDERS!!!! BLA BLA BLA"

They'll be preseason 20. The funny thing is how the media will scold Ole Miss for some shit (James Meredith statue incident)..but then will give them the biggest media blowjobs year in and year out about their unproven football teams. Does anyone remember the Snead SI cover? Yea that worked out well.

Sorry to go on a slightly off topic rant engie.

You mean these? They're never NOT funny to see.

At any rate, barring injuries, this could (will?) be a very good year for us. We've got a defense that will keep us in every game. Getting Auburn and A&M at home is HUGE. Dak plays lights out in Baton Rouge or Tuscaloosa, and you never know what could happen.

Yep...

CFBDaily picked us 4th in the west -- ahead of them -- as well...

Damn....thank you for that. I remembered the Snead cover, but had forgotten about the sultry 'over the glasses' look from Nutt. Classic!
