Preston Brown is a Phi Delt. He couldn't toss it more then 40 feet Thursday before we left for LSU. I don't know his status.

I can 100% assure you that Preston Brown is not in a fraternity. He was a phi delt his freshman year, but decided to focus on baseball and dropped.

Preston is separated by distance from the team right now but he should be back playing in a couple of weeks

To clarify: The staff thinks/hopes that Preston Brown will be back. I have my doubts about that. And if he does come back, how effective and reliable can he be? He won't be the 7-9 inning eater that he was a couple of weeks ago.

I suspect their hope is to start him and use him like we are using Fitts and then go with Woodruff out of the pen like we are doing with Lindgren.

I don't know what fraternity Preston is or isn't in.
