He threw three passes for three touchdowns on trick plays. Two to Dak and one to Morrow.

Weren't those "halfback" passes though? The article makes it sound like he went in at QB, but I just don't remember that.

Yeah, that's all it could be referring to. He never took a snap from center with the intention of throwing it.
