Yes they did. I'm wondering if it is just a NCAA tournament thing. Like someone posted earlier, they're not even allowed to drink out of cups that aren't NCAA approved. I have no info on this though just speculating

Another board quoted an article which said that "a school insignia" is permissible on football jerseys - and that the rules for football jerseys and basketball jerseys are different.
