Scroll down in the comments and check out the Jeter 'flop', too. Sports in general is getting embarrassing. Anyone who fakes something for the purpose of getting a call for something that didn't actually happen is a turd, and I wouldn't want them playing for me.

The most embarrassing thing is that in most places, this is now celebrated. Flopping to draw charges in basketball, diving all over the field in soccer. In some places they actually teach this as a way to get calls. Luckily this hasn't hit football much yet.

Think back to the Tennessee/Michigan game. If I were the Michigan player who flopped and got the call on Stokes, I wouldn't be happy about that. It would make the win feel illegitimate. How are you as excited about a win when you know part of the reason you won is because you got the ref to call something that wasn't there?
