I really don't have that warm and fuzzy feeling for Moultrie anyway. He played for us for only one year, and obviously has some character issues.

Is weed smoking considered a character issue?

When your choices are: don't do it and become rich playing a sport or do it and let it smear your rep as a player because after all it is illegal...to an extent. I would say yes.

When The inability to make good choices repeatedly comes up it is a character issue.

Getting suspended for games is considered a character issue. 97% of players never get suspended

I guess I look at it as a dumbass issue, not character.

I wouldn't build an organization with dumbass characters.

To me:

Dumbass means "I didnt know you could be suspended for smoking weed"

Character issue "I know I can be suspended for smoking weed and I dont give a ****- ima do it anyway"- because they dont suspend you for the first positive you get

If the NBA thinks you have a problem with drugs, you have a major drug problem.

I guess I dont look at weed as a drug so that is probably why that is my stance. They should test for alcohol.
It is much more dangerous to an athletes body.

Good news is, in 10 years we wont have football players suspended for smoking.

In some ways, yes, but smoking in general decreases breathing efficiency and blood circulation. It's pointless for anybody that requires a top notch cardio-respiratory system to perform their job at a high level to even smoke a peace pipe.
