Features that the NFL made EA remove from Madden.

I freaking hate the NFL, the No Fun League. I wish the XFL would have survived.

Here's a short list for those that don't want to read:

Concussions

Violent hit reactions like a player's head snapping back.

Knocking a helmet off.

Changing the color schemes for teams or creating custom teams with unapproved logos.

Celebrations. (Really? They took that out?)

Running over people on the sideline.

Dynamic attendance. Every game is a sellout!

The most ridiculous one is the concussions. They want to deny it's a problem as much as possible, and they don't really want to do anything about it either, as evidenced by their "preventative" measures that don't work in theory or in practice. They pretend to care just enough for favorable public perception. If they really cared, they'd pony up for those anti-concussion helmets (that cost about twice as much) like James Harrison used a few years ago, among other measures that might actually work and not adversely affect the game.

All of those are pretty disappointing though. They're all things that the average sports gamer and NFL fan would like to see in the game, but not enough that it's a deal breaker as far as purchase.
