I'm so proud to have dak as the face of our athletic program. If anyone is gonna take us to the next level, it's dak. Even if he doesn't though, I'll still be a huge dak fan

Awesome. That's the kind of leader you want for your football team.

And we wonder how it is that our players for the
most part stay out of trouble. It's not just the faculty
but the leadership of players like this.....

Dak is true maroon! Coach Mullen will never need to make up an alibi missionary trip for this star player.

Awesome read. I am as excited as I have ever been over bulldog football.

Let's compare QB's...

Capt. Bubble Screen - History of getting his ass kicked at frat parties. Now spends his days being the quiche brothers lap dog and yes man. Instigates and eggs on fights but safely behind people bigger than him like a little punk. All the leadership qualities of a cinderblock.

Dak Prescott - Unquestioned leader of the team. Leads by example. Never been in any trouble. Goes out of his way to be seen supporting the other university's teams and the school in general. Down to earth and loves spending time with fans. No sense of being better than everybody around him.

Wow. Awesome letter.

C'mon guys. This letter is about Dak Prescott, and how great of a person he is. Why must we take everything positive about us and somehow divert it to jab in some way to OM? Bo Dirt (which I do think that name is funny, btw) shouldn't even be mentioned in the same thread as Dak, especially when it comes to off the field character.

I just wanted to show character vs bullshit- and you see why one is successful at critical times- while the other fails. As a coach, you see it play out time after time

Thanks for the compliment, BeardoMSU!

I feel like this needs a bump. I just now had a chance to read it, and it makes me proud of our University to see the type of guys we're bringing in. Hail State

I agree Cadaver. He is special and probably one of the greatest players/leaders we have ever had. The stats he had this year were phenomenal given his amount of playing time. I think we could have a special season this year and could make a BCS game if things go right for us. That LSU game down in Baton Rouge could catapult us into a special season.

Don't think one can overestimate the importance of being healthy by Spring training and knowing you are the starter going in. Also think fans outside of MSU may be discounting that and the fact that we'll finally be playing, from the start and throughout, a QB that fits our offense. No compromises should equal better production across-the-board.

Thanks, Scooba. I really enjoyed writing it. I believe my son enjoyed it more than I did. He thinks he's famous now haha.
