Different situation.New athletic director who didn't hire the coach. Our empty suit AD hired Ray , so he would have to admit he screwed up the hire after two years. If Ray has a season like this year, ain't no way he gets a fourth. Even the empty suit understands that.

Yeah, great move. They are about to lose their two best recruits.

I put Seth Greenberg, Andy Kennedy, and Rick Stansbury all in the same boat. All have won a lot of games but the fans ultimately got tired of not being able to make the tournament regularly. However, the people that replaced them had enormous shoes to fill it isn't easy to win in Blacksburg, Oxford, and Starkville. Ole Miss better watch out if they run off Kennedy because they might be in the same situation we are in currently.

Only if Perez, Sieze, Summers (declares for draft), White, Colby and Newby all transfer..

But the bears think they already have the next great thing in mike white. And they'll get some national attention because his dad is athletic director at Duke.

AK will have a better TEAM next year if their main pieces come back and Summers doesn't go pro..
If Michael White is as good as everyone thinks he is , he wont be available for OM when they do fire AK..

White is a huge upgrade over AK. He will have them in the tournament within 3-4 years.

Nobody caught this????

"Johnson just completed his second season as head coach of the Hokies. He spent the previous five seasons on the Tech staff, serving as an assistant from 2007-2011 before being promoted to associate head coach prior to the 2012-13 season. He had accepted an assistant coaching position at Clemson on April 13, 2012, but returned to Blacksburg soon thereafter to take the head coaching position previously held by Seth Greenberg."

Clemson hired this guy to replace Rick Ray.

This guy had also been on the staff for 5 seasons recruiting the team he took over. And was that bad. So this situation, as expected, is a poor comparision to Ray and State.
