Meanwhile Marshal Henderson is passed out with his head on a table. Basketball really interfered with enjoying a good line of blow.

Are they going to the CBI?

I cannot tell you how happy I am to never see that prick play college basketball ever again.

Today is a good day for college basketball in my opinion. Actually, it's good for UM in the long run that this crap is over.

I believe that they will turn down the CBI. That's what their moderators are saying.

NAFOOM has already taken down MH's picture. :).... I guess the NIT didn't want to see the AK/MH circus.

Really would be a shock if they accepted. I don't think any SEC team has ever accepted to play in it.

Well put

So basically, their season was no better than ours. Ha

The SEC is not nearly good enough for that kind of attitude. If Texas, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Oregon, Oregon State, Butler, VCU, St. Louis, Washington, Washington State, Virginia, and Wichita State can play in the CBI, so can Ole Miss and other SEC teams.

Agree. Besides, when has OM ever turned down the opportunity at hanging a banner?

"CBI 2014" soon to be hanging (and stained by rain) in the Tad Pad.

Like I said yesterday, if the Bears win the CBI the grove could become "CBIchampsburg".

I'm shocked nobody no longer wants to watch MH miss 15 shots and pound his chest and scowl on the 6 he makes.

The poor little OM folks are gonna have to find them someone else to look up to now. Ol' Henderson was some good wank material for them while it lasted though.

If A&M was invited, they surely were. But again, it's such an embarrassment for SEC teams to play in the CBI.

Why? Why can Big 12, ACC, Big East, and Pac-12 teams play in it, but not SEC teams? How does that make sense?

If the players on a team don't want to play and aren't going to give 100%, then by all means, decline, and let a team who really does want to play have the bid. (I feel the same way about the NIT.) But if Texas A&M's players actually want to be out there playing in the CBI, and they're going to give it their all and try to win it, why is it embarrassing for the SEC?

I'll tell you what's embarrassing -- not being good enough to have the CBI give you a call. There's 5 teams in the SEC that have that distinction this year.

Somebody on hogsville.net said that OM declined the CBI invite. They have a thread on it.

I'm guessing it's a cost issue. Maybe Stansbury's last year it was a let's put the dumpster fire out issue, but I can't imagine SEC schools actually think they're too good for the CBI. I'm guessing the NIT you can come close to breaking even whereas the CBI is basically pure, unbudgeted expenditures?

If we had actually been invited this year, I would have been ok turning it down. We need more bodies more than we need more minutes and I don't think our young players would get a lot out of it. But any other year, if nothing else it gives you a chance to get meaningful minutes for your young players.
