Wonder if it was CT who went on his own with that pop up bunt yesterday and Cohen is still pissed. CT isn't careful he may get passed by Armstrong.

Told y'all about CT this offseason too. I expected Robson to challenge for it but if its Armstrong great. 4 years and still lacking an approach at the plate.

Lingo should be first out of the pen today if needed. Only 17 pitches yesterday

Yeah you were the only one that was baseball savvy enough to recognize it. You seem to have some pretty decent baseball knowledge but damn, why does it always have to be about you being the self-thought know-it-all instead of just discussing baseball.

03-02-2014, 05:18 PM
Is Cohen just telling our guys to work the count against the starter until they see him a 2nd time?

We can't score runs early to save our lives, but we're tKing fastballs on strike 3 early in games. I think nice only seen one swing on a 3-0 count this season. I'm sure there's been more but Rea is the only one I recall.

No. You pick and choose. You rode renfroe even though his sample size of 3 years said otherwise. You cant admit you are wrong. That is why you point out when you are right.

Lingo sucked for 2 years. He is playing better this year in his new role. I can admit that other than one appearance, he is lights out this year. His sample size says otherwise but you can just tell. Same with renfroe, same reason i bash holder and praise armstrong

Will James
03-02-2014, 05:20 PM
Rea not gonna get pitches with 1B open. Wouldn't have bunted Detz there. Bases loaded possible. If he gets out they still have to pitch to big boy with runners on 1 and 2. Double play chance worth the risk with Detz over an automatic out.

I would guess Holder...just because of the recent past. Quick question, why not Woody? We have a commanding lead, and it's rather low-pressure. Maybe give the kid some some work/confidance, or are we sold on making him a starter?

We have some good depth in the outfield. That's going to give us a lot of flexibility. Randolph is a walk-on, so I don't expect a lot out of him other than being a hard worker and a good teammate.

Because he pitched two games ago and is coming off of an injury. It would be risky in terms of his health to pitch him again today unless we absolutely had to.

We definitely look like we are getting our feet underneath us. Our team is starting to get an identity. We have minimized the number of players that we are "evaluating".
