finished last in the SEC in men's basketball?

86-87 ? last in West in 99-2000 but better than East.

Its been 27 years. Even "Stands", "Stains", whoever worst season that sent MSU basketball into oblivion still finished 6th overall.

Last time I felt this way the Maine Bears were celebrating in Davis Wade.

I felt sick having to watch Barry, Jarvis, and Dee all go out in the NIT like they were chumps.

Do your posts automatically appear on SPS and ED simultaneously?

Are you creepin' on me? WTF does it matter? Someone posted a similar statement on SPS and I responded. Am I wrong with my displeasure, or do you have any thing relevant to add?

No. We should have gotten rid of Stans, but it should have been done a year or two sooner.

Slow down soldier! Just a little odd but you're entitled to post whatever they hell you want. Is it on Genespage too? I don't go there.

No, I've never posted on that forum, and I've only been on here for a few months. Sorry if I bit your head off, we can still be friends? I don't know if I could go on living if you weren't my friend****

I think it was in good ole Bob Boyd's era when we were this bad. He didn't like recruiting either so there's that...

So you are saying that after

06-07 1st West NIT Final Four
07-08 1st West NCAA
08-09 3rd West NCAA
09-10 1st West NIT

All 20+ win seasons

And the next year we should have fired him? And hired who? Roy Williams? Barnes? Tubby? Ricky Ray?

Pretty sure you and I would not be friends. You decide if I'm being sarcastic or not - not up with the asterisks.

Clemson tried to hire him in April 2010 and he gave all indications of being ready to go so no firing was necessary. He was talked him into staying by the Ninja. Hindsight being 20/20 it would be interesting to see who would be coaching us now had we let him go.

That's always been a big what if for me. Had he gone to Clemson, with the program in better shape than it would deteriorate to. The other is, what if we had hired Kermit, Jr. instead of RR?
