I normally don't post on non-football sports so I'll keep this simple.
Britton is not the answer.
We should not be trying to replace our best player last year, Frazier, with him. Anyone who watches games knows he can't hit. He just can't. I'm not saying he can't physically hit, I'm saying he's not a gamer. Maybe it's his confidence, but I don't see any fire. There's a lot of guys who are great at BP and practice, but disappear in games. He shouldn't be playing. Whether it be Heck or another SS, someone else needs to get the nod. Some guys need to get pissed off on gameday to prove to themselves they can do it, but he just is devoid of any confidence or fire on the field. Maybe Cohen gave him scholly $ and that's why he's loyal to him, but he can't hit. If you can't .300+ as an SEC SS, you don't play. It's the marque position in the SEC and < .200 doesn't cut it.

what stands out to me is 112 hits his senior season. That's insane.
