Everyone thought we were his early leader and then Bama offered at their junior day. The other day he picked up a cpl new Crystal Balls to MSU. That could mean the Bama offer was a camp offer and not committable. South Carolina just offered so it will definitely be a battle. Even though we didn't land Marlon Humphrey last cycle, MSU's efforts at Hoover are not going unnoticed. MSU is doing well with 2 other Hoover guys in this cycle as well.

Hope we keep this up. Not only there, but all over the southern B'ham metro. There's not as much Bama/AU loyalty there as people think, people are from all over in this area, at least in the. Same with Huntsville. And an awful lot of MSU, we're easily a solid third choice all over western Alabama. A first choice for baseball. Need to be a mainstay in Birmingham. If you get out in the county, that sort of changes though.

Yep. Bama and Auburn recruit in the top 5 year in and year out. There are tons of high 3 and 4 star guys that they pass on from Alabama. I love our strategy of hitting it hard. Plus, Alabama just has more good football talent than MS and the MS/Al all star game proves it.

Alabama has 50% more people- so it stands to reason they would have more talent overall

Give them hell in Alabama. This will mean they can spend less time in our state trying to cherry pick players.
