Hate the "International Rule" for extra innings they are using in this tourney. Talked to a buddy who was in attendance, said we had a fair number of at'em balls in scoring situations last night. He said Owens was lights out until the 8th and the bunting defense killed us.

The international rule, is each team puts a runner on second base in extra innings until it's over. They usually only do this when there are multiple games on the same field. Stupid rule, but the softball game may have had more fans least night than Dudy.

I've done a little reading on Steudaman, apparently we've got one of the rising stars in NCAA softball. Any chance we keep her long term? I read she's from Birmingham, and already won championships at Alabama as an assistant. Nothing more to do there. May as well build a dynasty in Starkville. She's not a UA alum or anything, no reason to go back.
