The reason so many refuse to admit the truth about Ray, that he is not and will not get it done, is because they are afraid that by admitting that they are somehow admitting they were wrong about how awful Stands was.

Stands and Ray are two separate entities. No matter what Ray does, it has nothing to do with Stands being fired. He had to go.

And that's an even bigger problem. People wonder why we can't get a decent assistant. Who would want to work and recruit under that? Stricklin and Rick Ray live next door to each other too. As long as Stricklin is running the basketball program it's going to be impossible to get SEC/Division 1 caliber players.
