Can we call a rule now - no trades between teams owned by the same GM or at least not without approval.

I'm willing to give up Cincy, since I don't know much about their needs. It wouldn't be that hard to ESPN.com and learn, but if you want in, I'd be more than happy to let you take over the Bengals.

Pdawg10 has 2 teams now

intent?

Am I trying to make "Hack" have the best draft or each team have the best draft?

also, are we doing multiple rounds? I need to know if I can trade down for more picks in the 2nd.

My grades will be given out based on how well each person picks for their team's needs (leaving room in the grade for picking up a player who slips too low to pass up).

At least that's how I'm approaching my picks.

Coach34
02-26-2014, 01:41 PM
do ya'll want to do 2 rounds?

Coach34
02-26-2014, 01:42 PM
intent is to draft the best you can for that team to fits its needs

I personally think 2 rounds would be hella fun, although it'd obviously take longer to do. But what the hell, it's the weekend.

I seen it dawg

I like 2. So much talent to pick from. The 2nd round has really become the 1b round except for the money.

Political Hack

two for sure. it open up the chance to do more for the teams you're drafting for.

Political Hack

although everyone just keeps the same teams in the 2nd round instead of selecting snake style as to who picks for which team.

so I've got Jags, Baltimore, and SD in the 2nd too.

draft is set up just like the NFL draft- for example, Washington and Indy dont have 1st round picks- KC doesnt have a 2nd round pick...Cleveland and St Louis have two 1st rounders...SF has 2 2nd rounders

I'll start the draft around 8am in the morning...apparently I have to draft Manziel or Bridgewater because nobody wants to trade up

No Clowney? He and JJ watt would be hell on an O-Line

Coach34

maybeeeeee....thats my dilemma

Take Johnny or Bridge and get some defensive help in Rd 2- or take Clowney and get a QB in Rd 2

It doesn't benefit either of my teams to trade up or else I'd be interested. But neither Carolina or TN need DL or QB help. Now some of these other armchair GMs, like say whoever has the Raiders, should be hella interested in moving up for a QB or Clowney.

Very unlikely that they take either but Tennessee could use DL help and are far from settled at QB

Locker was good when he was healthy last season. The big problem with him has been just that: staying healthy. They might look for a guy in the late rounds, especially should a guy like Murray or Mettenburger still be hanging around then. But they could just as easily stand pat with their QB situation. Either way, they need more help in at least 3-4 other positions than QB. Although who knows if Bortles were to fall into their lap at 11?

TN is also transitioning to a 3-4 D this year. Most draft boards have them looking for OLB help. I think Clowney is more of a 4-3 DE than the hybrid you'll need in a 3-4, although his 40 time makes you wonder. Thing is, he didn't really play that fast at SCar. He's a guy I question in terms of his motor, so I'd be a little gun shy to give up extra picks to jump up 10 spots to get him.

AZ at 20 & 52, trade both to move closer to a top 10 spot in round 1
