OT: Temple Baseball cut

As of yesterday, Temple University's Board of Trustees voted to keep Men's Crew and Women's Rowing and allowed Baseball, Softball, and Men's/Women's Indoor Track to be cut. Sad day when Baseball gets cut from an academic budget.

Sucks, but I can see why it's happening.

Baseball is an expensive sport, mainly because of travel and the length of the season. My guess is that places like Temple don't generate even a fraction of the amount they need to stay afloat in baseball, and they don't have the luxury of football profits to fund the sport.
