I guess I'm in the minority, but I like them. Why not try to recognize some of the great teams from years past? We don't have much history to brag about, so let's brag on what we have. The 1998 SECW Champs banner with JJ is badass. Probably my favorite of all of them.

I do think we missed an opportunity to not do one of just Dak, maybe of him pointing up after his Egg Bowl TD. Need to PROMOTE our QB for him to have any Heisman shot, and missing opportunities like this one is awful. You think FSU would fail to have a banner of just Jameis Winston this year? Hell no.

I'm good with them. I've always felt like we should recognize the accomplishments we do have. To me the fact that we only have one SEC title and one West division title is a reason those teams should be recognized even MORE. OM has their accomplishments recognized and they certainly don't have anything as significant as our SEC West 1998 title in the last 40 years. You know, a title that actually got us to Atlanta. I'm speechless that you guys would criticize us for actually recognizing the couple of titles we do have.

Everybody else in the SEC brags about what they have accomplished. It's not about bragging to try to impress Alabama, LSU, or Auburn- it's more about promoting our program. I'm not just talking about football players- I'm talking about fans and students too.

We should promote what we have accomplished even if it isn't the best in the SEC historically speaking.

Exactly. There is nothing that we are ever going to do to make the other SEC programs pat us on the back and tell us good job. Unless it's knock off Florida State and pave the way for an Iron Bowl NC rematch or something crazy like that.
