A guy said he should never have been committed there in the first place due to all the racism (naming Dixie, and col. Reb, and noosegate) and the rebel fans were acting like the kids came from Georgia to soil their good name (lol) and it has nothing to do with ole miss.

I assume we will see a lot of that this year and possibly years to come. This has hurt them more than they know

Paging MSU bloggers. This should be a screen capture feast.

I noticed a post from him that said, "I lost a lot of respect in the past week." I'm guessing he was referring to Ole Miss.

People ask these young men where they are going to school. Imagine how embarrassing it would be to say ole miss these days.

Anyone notice how talty said it was because "his offer sheet exploded". Could it possibly be because he is a black athlete and ole miss just noosed up a black statue? Could he have not added that this couple possibly be due to all the bad publicity or is that make to much sense?

Those type question and assessments of a situation is what make GREAT journalism. It's called thinking outside the box. They are horrible excuses for writers and journalists at the CL

If we were wearing this shoe right now, they would make sure every recruit that we were after knew every detail of the of the story plus some extra stuff that they made up. Talty would be doing interviews left and right about how the incident has hurt us with quotes from recruits.

Indeed, and that's the sad thing. They're trying to take the high road as much as possible here but if this happened st MSU hell they'd probably try to make a movie about it, and Shep Smith wouldn't be able to get in any other news on his show.

The ties to slavery that ole miss /ole massa have are too strong to ignore. The longer they keep it the longer they have to turn their image around. Remember how they had the history of their name on their website till one of us linked it so they took it down? It's obvious that they know they have an issue they are going great to have to face sooner or later. Taking that down is admission that they have an problem, but are too proud of their past to make real change.
