Looks like Perk unofficially ran a 4.4 flat, according to the Combine Results on NFL.com

bleacher report had an unofficial 4.4 too. that should help his stock. I honestly expected a 4.5 and change for him.

His stock as a 3rd down back has to increase with that number.

Wow, I didn't think he would put up that good of a forty. Good for you, Perk.

Won't lie, I was expecting a 4.5 time myself. He must've slimmed back down some for the Combine after bulking up the last 2 years. Only thing that makes sense, because he didn't look like a 4.4 guy the last 2 seasons after looking at least that fast his first 2 seasons.

I believe that earned him some money today. Some team like the Giants will draft him and use him on 3rd downs and make us wonder why we didn't use him the same way.
But that's a tired subject

5th-6th round pick I think. His hands + that 40 will get him drafted

Perkins is having a good combine so far. He's quietly putting himself in the top five in each category.

He has a video on twitter running 4.3 in FL last month.

He did more bench prep reps than guys like Jeremy Hill and tied JC Copeland, a big ass fullback. He's looking quick and stout. I don't think he'll have as great of a career as a lot of guys he's outshining, but I think he's solidified himself to get picked up in the draft, which is great news for him.

Not to mention Perk's upper body strength. He go in the mid rounds

NFL.com showing an official time of 4.46 which is good for 5th in RB's

That's pretty damn impressive. Hopefully he has a long career as the next Kevin Faulk.

his durability shouldn't be a question either. he's got a lot of good check marks in his corner. I wouldn't be shocked to see him move up to the 4th or 5th. His value as a safety KO return man will help some too. he won't return kicks, but having a 3rd RB who can be a safety valve backup type at that spot has value.
