Got embarrassed tonight against A&M. Probably Bama, Auburn, with new coaches. Who else.

I think grant gets one more year. I don't think he deserves it but he has like 4 years left on his contract

Georgia's coach is making a move to save his ass another year...Barbee has a stretch of games that could possibly save him as well- but unlikely. Also depends on how that meeting is going right now too

Alabama is 10 and 16 worst record after 26 games in 43 years. Not sure how you get another year. Alabama has plenty of money to buy Grant out. Fwiw Clay Travis said he's finished.

Yea except that's like us hiring an ex Ole Miss coach coming off a 3 year ban. Seriously doubt Alabama hires the coach Tennessee fired.

True I'm not knocking him at all I'm saying those two schools hate each other's guts and I don't see Bama hiring Pearl just because they hate Tennessee that much but then again maybe that gives them more incentive to hire him. I hope I'm right because Bama will be hell with him there.

We would do well to keep in mind that the current AD at Bama is Bill Battle, a former player at Bama as well as former HC at TN and who doubtless still has a good many resources there. He probably has an in-depth knowledge of Pearl's shenanigans at TN. He may even know him personally. If so, I think he would have to be absolutely convinced that he can rely on Pearl to keep his nose clean and not bring embarrassment to Bama similar to what TN suffered. Battle, even given his TN experience, is a Bama guy first and foremost.
