This is what happens when you hire a coach that is the player's buddy, and not a boss. Congratulations, you've got the Wade Phillips of the SEC coaching your team.

Coaches like this have traditionally worked well in the short term, especially when following a hard ass like Parcells. Think Larry Coker, Wade Phillips, Rick Stands, etc., but over the course of a few years, the players take advantage of them and don't respect him when tries to crack the whip.

I completely agree. Pete Carroll would be a prime example of that, but it is hard, and it doesn't appear that Freezus is Pete Carroll.
