2014 wing Gedarius Troutman of Taylor County (GA) will be visiting Mississippi State this weekend, per his mentor.
An explanation for part of the reason why he's been overlooked to this point:

Another one questioning whether he's the best shooter in 2014:

One key in the game for the Knights was to contain Vikings shooting guard Gedarius Troutman. The 6?3? senior is being courted by schools such as Youngstown State, Duquesne, and Mercer. Upson-Lee seemed to do a fairly decent job holding the shooter in check from the floor. Troutman finished with 15 points from the field, but it was his ability to knock down free throws which essentially won the game for Taylor County. Troutman went to the line 20 times and made 17 free throws, finishing with 32 points in the game. No other Viking had more than seven points.

There's a 3 part video to a full game of him hitting 47 on YouTube(11 3's). Here's part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQPNCZw1Ka4
Someone on 24/7 claims that he averaged 24.4ppg, 5.1RPG, 3steals, 3assists as a JR but couldn't find senior stats. I couldn't even find the JR stats, so I'm taking their word on that one.
Doesn't have a single recruiting profile, plays for a 2A school, and skipped over half of the summer AAU season. Probably won't satisfy the star gazers -- but he seems like a potentially nice fit at a big position of need.
