iPad question streaming Hailsate

I had a friend ask me about buying the adapter
cable (to run from the iPad to TV) vs buying Apple TV for watching Hailstate TV
on his home TV. Is the quality the same either way?
My Apple TV picture is excellent!

Don't buy the adapter!

It's not horrible...but it's not Apple TV quality.

Apple TV plus HailStateTV is the best thing that ever happened to college baseball
