Huge win for USA! And this after a very impressive win over Slovakia. Slovenia may be a little bit better than I thought, but we should take care of them.

I was worried when I saw our bracket because Russia and Slovakia are pretty good teams. We should have a pretty big goal differential since we beat Slovokia pretty bad, so we might get a first round bye anyway.

How does the bracket work?

You have three brackets. Four teams get byes in the medal round- the three teams that win their bracket and then the best second place team based on points.

The bottom eight teams play a qualifying round game and then the top eight play to go to the medal round.
