UK up 4-1 vs Virginia. Keep an eye on this one, as it could have an excellent effect on our ranking...

Damn UK stepped up the OCS scheduling UVA, did they not or did UVA loose a lot from last year?

UVA brought back as much, if not more, than anyone in the country. That's why they are preseason #1 in multiple polls...

I don't think UVA lost much, that's why they are picked by many to be the #1 seed this year.

Yeah, they can beat anyone with Reed on the hill. They've hit pretty well today too once they got through the lineup the first time...

Good for us, since UVA is ahead of us in 4 of 5 major polls. Now, we just need to take care of business!

There are only a few teams in the SEC that we shouldn't be worried about this year, bears, AU, Tenn (at least a year away), and mizzou.

The other 9 teams are teams that can beat us in a series. Will they? Of course not, but lets remember that our SEC record last year was 16-14 and then we exploded in the post season. Now despite some key losses, I think we are stronger on the mound then last season and if Wes hits like I think he can - our lineup should be fine by the end of the season.

To me - the target number of SEC wins this year is 18. With 18 SEC wins, I think we lock up a National seed.
