I checked all of our competitor's rosters and all of them are updated with the 2014 team and ours still has the 2013 team on it.

Niblett, instead of hassling the bloggers, who promote your program, about their twitter names, perhaps you should do your real job and update the roster.

There is a lot that needs to be updated on hailstate.com. I was looking at the facilities and reading about them, they are way behind on some of the info. Go look at the hump, it says we were 13-4 at home last year.

Cohen's going to wait until the last minute to make the cuts, so you probably won't see the roster updated until tomorrow.

Good grief, people. We haven't pared the roster down yet, so there's nothing to update at this point. Not everything is an example of our administration screwing something up.

We don't even have an updated roster from the preseason. We are still showing the 2012-2013 roster online. It doesn't acknowledge the guys who left nor the guys who came in. Yes, in my opinion, that is "screwing something up". It should be a full spring roster available that then gets trimmed down by Friday.

I sure would hate to be one of the guys cut over the next 48 hours.

The roster can't be finalized yet, but I don't understand why they couldn't have posted a preseason roster before now. I know I have seen a scanned paper copy of one.

Well here is just one reason why fans who cover the teams aren't such a bad thing aside from the fact that we go more in-depth than the fluff catered to the casual fan they provide.

Here is the preseason roster: http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/296/files/2014/02/roster.png

They updated it this evening. Nothing like a little push, Shotgun. http://www.hailstate.com/SportSelect.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=16800&SPID=10993&SPSID=90859

By my count, there are 41 names on the roster they just posted. The only people missing that were on my fall scrimmage roster are Avery Geyer, Tony Anello, and Wes Stokes.

I think Anello and Stokes were announced earlier after Christmas that they had left the team. Geyer not sure.

Avery Geyers name and bio are listed on the roster released.

I thought that we had to be down to 35 on the roster, but there seems to be more than that. Anyone care to explain this to me?

This roster is before cuts (redshirt designation). 35 guys will be eligible to play this weekend. Then it will have to be cut down to 27 by SEC play....that's why you see some guys play early in the year and then disappear as the season goes on.

Geyer is still on the team, he has pitched one inning in the scrimmages. Stokes and Annello are not.
