It says the NCAA will send a rep to MSU home games and immediately ban anything new or innovative.

That's dumb as hell. If they wanted to prevent advertising, then exempt the hashtags that reference the university or its traditions. Yeah, I get not wanting fields to have a giant #DRINKCOKE or something like that, but references to something innocent is overboard.

It's ran its course anyway. Stupid to ban it but I'm glad it won't be on our field any longer

Right, I am sure that we will probably go ahead and turn ourselves in for a violation, lose a few scholarships and add another Thursday game for punishment.

My guess is Bracky Brett self-reported the endzone hashtags figuring they were a violation. The NCAA said, 'hey thanks as always Bracky for making your school suffer but that's not in the rule book, however, we will put it in just to honor you for being such a great stickler for the rules'.

Also in this rule was that nothing can overlay yard lines or hash marks.

Every team has a midfield logo that lays in top of the 50 yard line if not more. I predict some teams won't respect the rule and nothing happens to the. No way LSU is going to paint yard lines and hashes over their tiger eye.

The NCAA is as useless as the crap sold on late night info mercial.
You don't need it, you get more of it than u want, and u never know what's coming next but it is going to b crap as well.
( although I do like my MSU snuggie, non stick frying pan, and ginsu knives)

the idea / word is out now .... flash it across the jumbotron and take it off the field ...no need to kick a dead horse ... we got away with it - kinda like the cowbells

I'm thinking signs around the endzone out of bounds lines. Like soccer has.

This. The first time was cute, but it's a gimmick after that.
