what would the rebels hold their hat on if we were to sign a top 5 class? They would have to shut the university down for good.

They wouldn't see the playing field for 18 games because Bracky would dig up something.

I fully expect half of the guys who are committed to us in2015 to flip to another school . We are M State!

We are going to have a top 20 class for sure- too much talent in-state not to. But as with every Feb, it's not JUST stars- it's getting the right guys and the undervalued guys we always pull.

I think we are gonna have a good class next year, and when we make it 5 out of 6 it will help us.

I really believe they'd rather lose to us on the field than "lose" to us in recruiting....perception > reality

We're currently at 6 on 247, FWIW. (It's worth next to nothing at this point, of course.)

I wouldn't discount the ability of this class to finish really, really high...especially being that we may end up taking as many as 27-30. No need to label what it can and can't be -- just stay excited about it and watch the magic happen. Please quit comparing everything to Ole Miss. We aren't chasing them -- they are chasing us.

IMO, we will be more than 3/4 of the way to our total points for 2014 before the month of March hits this year -- nevermind that our best recruiting is done during summer camps.

They proved that in 2011 with Houston Nutt.

Dan has changed his recruiting for the better. He knows what he is up against and he knows the state now. We also have four out of five Egg Bowls to hang our hat on as well. We have a lot of momentum for sure.

The poster who made the comment about guys flipping, I think that's probably true. But if we're loading up with 28+ guys and we start pulling them in "Tennessee style" and we get on some guys to flip late ourselves we'll be in good shape. We need more high quality kids committed earlier in the process and if we lose 10 - 15% of the along the way but have a plan to backfill with great kids that want to be here it's still going to be one of the best classes ever. Ole Miss will be hurting this time next year after firing Freeze and hiring Lane Kiffin to replace him.

We could sign the top 25 guys in the nation and by NSD none of them would be ranked 1-25. We are Miss State.
