BTW, when did the SEC begin a Wild Card Game? Presumably this year since I do not recall it before.

Also, Pac-12 and SEC only have ~75 games televised. The ACC however has 114....so the conference with no one from the National Championship series has more games on tv than the two conferences with a team in the National Championship series....dafuq?

I think the wild card game means that they are picking the tv game for that date at a later time

I guess that makes sense because it takes place prior to the last weekend before the SEC Tournament begins.

Away games on TV are at UGA , lsu (2), at auburn CSS Saturday at 7pm, at Alabama CSS. That's a decent amount of away games on TV.

And Ref you're right. Flipping channels on Saturday during baseball season seems like an acc fest.

Keep in mind that there is going to be an additional inventory of 75 SEC baseball games on the SECNetwork beginning next season -- so, really, there's going to be ~ 150 SEC baseball games on TV in 2015 -- a number that's going to go up as they begin to see the ratings.

That's next season, however. I'm talking this season in particular. I understand that UVA and Jameis Winston are in the ACC so that's probably why they have more TV spots but 20-30 spots more than SEC and PAC-12? Just seems a little ridiculous for me.

I'm really surprised the LSU game isn't a Thursday night game. I see they have the Saturday game on ESPNU, but I would think 2 top 5 teams would be on Thursday.
