This shit is becoming WAY too common- it seems like we hear about another random shooting every week these days.

It makes me lose faith in humanity.

Teach high school kids and it will make you almost feel hopeless about the future. I'll be honest, the stuff I see my students come from and the situations they have to deal with, I'm surprised this kind of stuff doesn't happen more often. I can't even begin to imagine what I would have turned out like if I had to go through what some of them have to on a daily basis.
