Nothing wrong with that. I think mine is optimistic

vs Kentucky 75%
at USC 15%
at A&M 10%
vs Bama 1%
at Arky 70%
vs OM 65%

Adding up my %s, I get about 6.25 wins - sounds reasonable to me.

Probably a little optimistic on the auburn and arkansas matchups, but I just don't see them turning it all around in 1 season. Perhaps a bit optimistic on the LSU game too.

Those seem pretty pessimistic now that I look at them, going 5-6-1 based on the percentages, but I think we get a couple of the ones with lower percentages and end up with 7 wins.

vs OSU - 40% - MSU never plays well in these type games
vs Alcorn - 100% - all day
at Auburn - 65% - we have the edge, but Malzahn's streaky shit concerns me
vs Troy - 75% - let down game, their Sr. QB returns who tore us up
vs LSU - 40% - I think we have a better than average chance to knock them off
vs Bowling Green - 90% - all day if we don't screw around
vs Kentucky - 80% - OL issues will hurt them
at USC - 30% - probably will be flat up there
at A&M - 10% - Sumlin's stuff is too much for us at their place
vs Bama - 30% - think we'll play inspired ball and have a chance
at Arky - 75% - depleted roster in a place we typically don't play well
vs OM - 60% - We'll beat them at home. They don't have the 'edge' anymore.

On the defense fear vs. Auburn, Troy, aTm and Ole Miss, we may not even have an issue with Collins at the helm. Only time those type teams have really eaten us up was with either Torbush or Wilson calling the shots. We shut Cam down in 2010.

those of you thinking A&M is as good as Bama next year have lost it. They just lost their best 2 or 3 OL, DL, WR, most talented RB, and others. Everyone thinks that team ran with Johnny Football, but that team ran with the boys in the trenches. This reminds me of the year everyone had Snead pegged as a top NFL prospect and OM in their top ten while discounting that they lost their best OL and DL to the NFL. A&M probably has more talent than them, but you don't replace studs in the trenches in the SEC without a drop off.

NO WAY you should be disappointed if we go 7-5 with the murderous schedule we are going to face this Fall. In fact if we go 8-4 (what you say is acceptable) then I would think Mullen should seriously be in consideration for SEC coach of the year. Right now I'm just crossing my fingers that we can keep our bowl streak alive. Much will depend on how improved Auburn and Arkansas are but given we have to play both on the road they will not have to improve significantly for us to have difficulty with them.

At least one person gets it.

But personally, I didn't pick TAM as my lowest percentage because I think they'll be better than Bama.

I blame Stricklinz. OSU being scheduled before we knew who our SEC East opponent was, was stupid. Period. The "but we thought it was gonna be Vandy" argument doesn't suffice. We have a long, long history of kissing the SEC's ass only to see them screw us. I'm not sure how the administration was surprised on this one.

You know how LT ran the Ath Dept? With dollar signs in his eyes. The politicization of our W's and L's should be ancient history, but recent events suggest otherwise.
