I live near Marcus out here in Washington. I have talked to him regularly since he got an MSU offer. In fact, I spoke with him this morning. He is a really good kid. He said he loved his trip and that it far exceeded his expectations. I didn't want to press him for his decision. He just said he has to talk with his folks and weigh everything out. I will add that he is really high on us and that signing with MSU is a great possibility. However, he does have an awful lot to consider.

The distance is really the only factor. He had questions about the lifestyle in Starkville, but he had a lot of fun. Our fan base, players, and commits did an excellent job making him feel at home and like family. If I had to guess right now, I say I am at about 75% on him signing with us. His discussion with family will tip the scale one way or another.
