Vandy has a very good baseball team

very good but their baseball operations is not up to snuff.

No one in the stands Fri night and State people could not get tickets. They are not ready for the big time baseball they put on the field.

No way should they ever host a super regional.

The reason Friday sold out is because they gave a ton of tickets to little league kids. Doesn't have anything to do with "baseball operations."

To your point, though, it's ridiculous to think that a stadium that maxes out at 3700 would host a super regional. The Vandy folks acted like a sellout was completely unheard of, too, which tells me their fans just don't give a crap about baseball.

They gave away 900 tickets of which probably 200 (if that ) showed. Some parents who were expecting promised passes where denied entrance. That is someone's fault.

But a large time was has by all in the parking garage across the street with a perfect view and tailgating space.
