That's reasonable.

Most of the outside world doesn't fully appreciate how we could be better after losing what we lost.

Not surprised about Virginia, they return a bunch of guys.

8 is good to start. We're a top 10 team and 8 is in there.

5 of 7 teams from SEC West are ranked. (Aub & OM) Wow that's crazy.

Like Virginia #1 and Oregon St #2.

Coming in behind South Carolina is an almost monumental wtf though. No one has yet convinced me of a dang thing about Chad Holbrook. Year one looked alot like Smoke Laval to me.

BA had hinted during the fall that Virginia might be number one. Of course their program was built with a lot of Grishams money

So we went 5-0 against the top 3 teams for this year in last year's postseason? Not too bad.

I think eighth is pretty reasonable.

If our team thinks that's too low, maybe this will give them even more motivation.

Damn right we did.

So the next time some idiot tries to tell you that we got an "easy path" in the postseason last year, just smack them with that stat. There was nothing cheap or fluky about our run to the championship series.

I'm pretty sure they are going to be pissed about it. The upperclassmen will be for sure.

Did anybody read the interview with auburns new coach..wow. you thought John Cohen was cocksure when he was hired..I haven't seen arrogance or bravado like that in a long time.Maybe somebody can post it because he sounds like a real winner.,***

Let's just hope we've learned our lesson there. If anything it will constantly stand as a reminder of what can happen when individuals start believing that they are bigger than the program.

There was zero tears shed when he left Norman even though he had done a good bit of winning there. They had wanted him out for awhile and thought he was a total douche nozzle. One of his daughters went to Oklahoma St(the biggest rival school obviously) and posed for Playboy while there basically under her real name -- so, there's that.

Joe Simpson called him out in a huge way.
