MSU commit Victoria Vivians dropped 60 (!!!) on Tupelo tonight and now is now ranked 2nd all-time nationally in career points. I think we have ourselves a winner.

if you have never seen her play you are missing something like I have never seen before. It's absolutely unreal... SC is a 2A school. Tupelo is 6A and was 18-1.. Does anyone have a final score? did SC pull it out?

I knew Tupelo would be very difficult to beat. Thanks for posting.

Mother of god. I don't think the entire girls team at my high school ever scored 60 points in a game.

one advantage too is that she has been very well coached throughout her career and she has NEVER been babied. She has zero sense of entitlement. She is very down to earth and just loves to win. Chad Harrison is a very good coach and he is really helped her progress. Also, Chad is a BIG bulldog supporter!

our women's coach has a chance to build a special program IMO.

It's still hard for me to fathom 5,000 points in less than 4 years. She's averaging 45/game this year. What the heck.

that's ridiculous. it's hard to get 20+ shots off a game, much less make most of them.

I just found an ESPN article on her that said her coach practices 5-on-8 and has for the last 2 years, with the extra 3 defenders all assigned to Vivians. Said she hasn't been guarded 1-on-1 in a game since her sophomore year.

She led the nation in scoring as a sophomore at 37/game, was 2nd last year at 39/game, and is just barely 2nd again right now with the 45 per. She also averaged over 17/game as an 8th grader playing varsity.

This is all correct.

This is all correct.

What every opposing coach is saying right now.

We had a girl like that at my high school. Small school in Alabama, she broke all kinds of records, would score 40+ points any given night. In a state championship game, she score 56, and we lost 60-58. She went on and played at an SEC school and did alright.

Nothing like this girl though. Victoria > LoTaya and Tan together. We might finally beat Tennessee.

as long as we have a couple more pieces of the puzzle to go with her, you are right that she could really help move our program to the next level.
