JT Gray

I hope you're right. He has some impressive offers, but not committed. What's up with that? Are we looking at him as safety or cb?

He is visiting Iowa State this weekend - it seems that some of his early offers dried up. It happens in recruiting - I hear he is a solid player though, so it could be a good thing.

Personally, I would save the scholarship for January. My thought is that if Gray wasn't good enough for a scholarship two weeks before signing day, why offer now? Wish him the best and try and sign a stud in January.

Because he's the next best player on the board. Taveze Calhoun 'wasn't good enough' for an offer until right before signing day, but he proved worth the scholarship.

I was/keep hoping that we'll bring Bailey Grainer in for a visit. He was a long time Vandy committed that decommitted after Franklin left. 6'7 300+ out of Louisiana

Grainier visiting vandy this weekend. My guess is the new staff convinces him to recommit- for whatever that's worth (not much).

Granier didn't progress like people were hoping & now if Vandy doesn't bring him back in the fold(may not have a choice with their low commit #'s) then his only other choices are ULL & La Tech. Tulane even told him they didn't have room for him.
