8-9 win season and we're at 5th? Don't see it. 3 or 4 IMO

Our defense must not have known this. Between the 2 best defenses in the west (bama and us) last year, OM got 3 points in 8+ quarters. Freeze is an offensive mastermind*

Subtract a top 3 round wr and most their ol. Yeah, they'll be an offensive machine** Truth is they'll beat up on weak teams and teams with good defenses will beat up on them. They should have a good defense though.

Honestly, it pisses me off too that they put us at 5th..but we have to earn good preseason predictions. Despite all of Mullen's successes it has been over a decade since we had a winning season in the SEC.

Shoot, I'm just surprised they put us ahead of somebody besides Arkansas. We can't expect to see great preseason predictions for us because most of them are based on last year, and we went 6-6. It doesn't matter. Most of the years we challenged for the West title under Sherrill, we were picked dead last preseason.
