BOOBIE scores. I'm with you my friend. Autocorrect sucks sometimes. So does instant replay.

Mullen would have 5 straight bowls if he would have kept feeding Boobie against LSU.

Ok so my 13 yr old just asked me who was the best running back ever at state. Packer, Norwood,JJ, Boobie.

Michael Davis was pretty much hell too. Keifer was good.

I'm giving it to Boobie now.

Damn, that's tough. We've got a whole lot of good ones to choose from. I'd probably go with Norwood by a nose over Boobie. I'd kill to have seen J-Rock in Mullen's spread. He might have won a Heisman with his blend of skills. Keiffer was on his way to being VERY special before his untimely death.

JJ would be my choice. He had an outstanding 2 years
Dixon under Mullen for 4 years would have been amazing
Packer is a great old school choice

Michael Haddox....

Michael Davis was the most fun to watch... He brought the pain I've never seen a state RBI flat run people over like he did.

Norwood had a lot of runs that went nowhere. Justin Griffin was a beast. Michael Haddix was a first round pick. JJ was awesome, but he had some great O-lines too. No one ran harder than Vick Ballard. Keffer might have broken some records. I guess I would go with AD since he had to play in the Croom Coast offense and never had a QB. I would love to see Dak and AD in the backfield.

Norwood and I don't think it's close. He didn't have any help. Him single handedly beating Florida was one the best performances we'll ever see in Davis Wade.

Norwood was the best.

There have been so many great backs at state. Think Dicenzo Miller should make this list as well.

IMO its a toss up between JJ ,Norwood and Dxion.

Norwood all day. Love all these guys, but what Norwood did with the 'help' around him was flat out amazing.

He had a lot of runs that went nowhere because he didn't have an o-line.

Norwood was the most explosive, but he would probably be 4th or 5th on my list.

Michael Davis was the strongest RB we ever had. Norwood was the most athletic. Ballard was a combination of those two. We've had some good ones.
