Well, considering we had 14 recruits on campus this weekend.... I'm pretty sure Mullen may have been somewhat busy. I would not doubt we hear something by Thursday before the 9 out of state recruits come to vegas for a visit.

I'm sure he let guys like Jamoral Graham and any other offensive recruits know who their OC would likely be. I doubt this close to signing day that we don't already know who the guy is...just waiting to announce it and make it official

I might be going all Miss Stake here but I WANT to promote Gonzales. At least next year. Let's keep it going like it is, too many good things going for us right now to change it up.

If we're going to hire a completely new coach, I'd rather devote that to ST. I'm not one of the ones who is as down as the others, but since we now know that Mullen calls the plays, we know he's not really concentrating on the rest. So we definitely need dedicated coaches there in all aspects.

If we hired someone like Jay Johnson (not advocating, just saying someone with a similar title), he could be the QB/OC and we could make Gonzalez the ST coach. Gonzalez was the co- ST coordinator at Utah.

Somebody earlier said that Jay Johnson coached Austin Davis at USM...but my buzzard family members said Johnson was not there when Davis was. They said he was there when Bower was there. Too lazy to look it up, but maybe someone can clarify.

That is correct, Johnson was the OC under Bower, the OC for USM under Fedora was Blake Anderson new HC at ARK State
