at home vs aTm. They are 3-0 in the SEC but are nothing special. They have probably the best passing PG in the SEC in Caruso but he's not a great outside shooter. They have one decent big guy (Roberson) and another G/SF in Jones that will take a lot of shots but has poor shooting #s. If we can wake up and stay out of foul trouble we should beat the Aggies at home. If Ray plays that shit defense that we saw vs Bama we'll lose by 10. We can't afford to lose this game and go to 1-3. Must win today.

Hopefully aTm has used all their magic up. Arkansas and at tenn are pretty nice wins. I agree they're beatable though

Chicken needs to attack the rack and make his free throws. do that, keep their big man on the bench some and don't give us easy points.... we'll be in it down the stretch at home. I'll take that.

I don't know how we do as well as we do. There is nobody that can shoot the ball outside 5ft on this team. Well Borchert but he can't get open. It isn't that difficult to make a basket when left open. It has to be a confidence issue with some of them.

Beating the swac and OM is doing well.?

Yep and we give up wide open looks on the perimeter. Ray has ****ed up Thomas to the point he is of no use out there. Without Ready, we can play like the worst team in the SEC and we are doing so today.

We are playing the best defensive team in the SEC today. It magnifies our offensive woes. We just struggle to shoot the ball

He may have improved some of our players since they got there but Thomas is one that has definitely regressed since coming to MSU.

No, Thomas is no longer playing against HS kids and is playing SEC athletes. Ray doesnt make him miss 1 foot putbacks or drop balls and let them roll thru his legs. The game is faster and FTF needs to catch up

The guy is one of our only perimeter shooters and he passes up wide open looks because Ray wants to pound it on the inside to Ware which is a good strategy however if you hit a few threes it tends to open up the inside. We have potential to be a good offensive team if Borchert and Thomas hit threes. If they don't, it's easy to triple team Ware in the post. You let shooters shoot. Shooters will shoot themselves out of slumps. If you shun them from shooting and put even more pressure on them, they tend to shoot like shit.

that's the point- we arent hitting 3's. We shoot 23% in SEC play

FTF is shooting them when he gets his feet set and doing better. You are bitching just to bitch at this point

plus, Ray is telling them not to shoot in the first 5 seconds of the shot clock- and he is right about that
