His offer sheet says ULL and Memphis. This will be interesting. I want to see where his ratings go from here now that he is flipping to an SEC school.

Rosebowl said the kid is going to USM, but who knows if that accurate or not.

If he does go there I bet after he signs they offer him grey shirt only..

Good, underrated player IMO...

One of those that I hate to miss on, although I totally understand why we don't have a ship to give at the LB position right now...

who is his best friend and does he have younger brothers? it's all about the connections, right?

I think I saw he was what, 6'2" 240lbs. That looks to be a nice frame to grow into a monster LB. Could be 260 by his third year in a SEC program.

Legitimate question.

His profile says 6'0" and runs a 4.7, which would explain the lack of offers. Could be one of those guys with great instincts, though, and they generally do well at LB.

I'm not sure I would ever want a 260-pound LB, though, unless he's at least 6'4".

Im with you on Avery - I thought he was the 2nd best DL on the MS squad. I don't think he will be fast enough for LB, but I think he could add some weight and make a solid Rush end. HIs problem is that he is 6'0". If he was 6'3" I bet both MSU and the bears would have offered.

These are the kids that USM used to sign before Hud, La Tech and other schools started kicking their teeth in.

I'm sure that Avery has a "brother" in Chicago, IL that is the top player in America in 2016. That's always the way that it work with the Rebs.

This definitely means their staff sucks at recruiting if they're having to flip kids from ULL this late in the game. LOLOLOLOL. Right? I mean, this is what they've told us for years.

In all reality, though, it does likely mean they have struck out on some guys. Doesn't mean that Avery won't be great, though. We had to take Taveze Calhoun late in 2011 after guys like Whitehead flipped, and that worked out pretty well for us.
