Can you break up one fball scholly and give portions of one to multiple players? I think that's how baseball does it by having 40 guys getting portions of a dozen baseball schollys. Take a guy like Justin Malone who had high test scores & grades in HS making him eligible for academic scholarship $ to make up the difference that the partial football scholly doesn't cover.
I ask b/c I wonder if this is done to get 85 fball scholarships to 87 or 88 players, etc. There was an article about the 85 man roster on here about a week ago and this got me thinking of how to spread the 85 schollys to more than 85.
anyone know?
