Pretty tough ranking to do. I'd have put A&M at 6, moving us and Ole Miss up a spot. Still not sold that Auburn really is the best team in our division, they were a team of momentum, and an offseason is not the best thing for a team like that.

I'd say these are fairly accurate rankings, although I'd swap us and A&M and put Auburn and Bama at 1A and 1B. A&M is a 6-8 win team without JFF and you can't put us ahead of LSU until we beat them. We have a chance to finish top 2-3 in the west next year, if we play to potential.

I agree that A&M is too high on this ranking. With JFF gone they are a 7 win team at most. I have LSU winning the West w/ either us or AU #2/#3. I think Bama has a down year w/ the offense under Kiffen.

I feel like we also benefited from momentum, and I hope that we are able to maintain that through the offseason. We have tremendous potential and if we take advantage of opportunities and execute--we will go far.

Why do you think LSU will win the West?

Struggled on defense this year, and are losing guys to the pros.

Shotgun it's more of a gut feeling. I'm probably wrong as Hell but stranger things have happened.

I'm really suspicious of the Kiffen hire. Something just makes me think Saban may have just invited the devil into his home. Either Saban will look like a freaking genius or there will be Uhauls and For Sale signs in his yard in November.
