What the hell does that mean? NFL QBs yell that all the time.

I know that there was a play in the WCO called Omaha. My guess is it's probably a variation of that play, an audible to something unrelated, or a dummy audible.

I think in Mannings case, it signifies the keyword/codeword/indicator that proceeds the snap count.

For example, "Alpha 32 Blue 19 Omaha 24 = snap count on two

I think it means opposite. An audible switching the routes or the direction of a run play.

If this were the case, the defense would always know the snap count; he might as well just say, 'Snap it on two'.

I'm guessing its meaning constantly changes.

Arron Rodgers does the same thing but his is 319 ... I was wondering about this and noticed that it was repeated almost every snap ... P Manning uses "Omaha" the same way it appears

This is what I got watching Payton, calls signals, says OMAHA, then goes on a snap count of one or two, which the defense will not know which one.
