The twitter machine via 24/7 says Wilson is interviewing at BAMA today. Seriously.

We couldn't be that lucky. Although I will say he is certainly a better DL coach than DC.

I would venture as far as saying he is a very good DL coach. Before he became DC for us, he did well as dline coach, and did so with a team that rarely ever blitzed.

This is much more likely than Orgermoron landing at Bama...Saban still chasing Brick Haley too

Disagree. Our DL was outstanding this year better than it was any year under Wilson. There was a reason we got him for Okalahoma

Turner is miles ahead of Wilson as a D-line coach.

we certainly did some things this year better on the DL under Turner than we did the last couple

Bama reportedly is hiring Bo Davis, the same Bo Davis that agreed to coach at USC about 3 days ago.

I just heard the same thing... It seems that the Ogre is destined to coach at USC

Bama and Saban is trending down to me. Bad end to the iron bowl, Kiffin is not a good fit at Bama especially with Saban. Losing to what looked like a bad Oklahoma team during the season.

Their new qb looked terrible to me as a backup to McCarron.

Looking at orgeron? Also a bad fit. Maybe a bunch of talent surrounding it will cover for it but I think the twilight has begun on Sabans glory there.

Never said Wilson was a great DL coach and I agree that Turner seems better, I just said Wilson was a better DL coach than DC because he sucked as a DC.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he became the primary playcaller after Diaz left. And if there's anything our defense was noticeable for prior to Diaz's departure, it was blitzing, no? His first year as DC did see a tremendous decline in our pressures (except the corner blitz which is his favorite play ever)

Back in the saddle after a brief hiatus.

Actually, many people, "in the know", will tell you Chris Wilson installed dan mullen's defensive scheme. Not to mention the two seemed to despise each other. C34, what say ye?

Turner is NOT "miles" better as a DL coach. That's horse crap! Wilson is a better edge coach but Turner is far superior in coaching interior DL. There's a difference.

so our ends didn't take a great leap this year. Preston Smith was just as good at end under Wilson eh? **

No- Wilson ran most of what he wanted as far as I know. But he and Mullen certainly werent getting along at the end

You know it's possible that DEs can get better penetration when you have a monster on the interior commanding a double team. Chris Jones.
