If we couldn't pull out the victory in some way, this would be the next best thing. We can come out firing with both barrels tomorrow.

Oh well, that's the difference in being the #2/3/4 team in the nation - you get two walks, you make the opponent pay. We just don't seem to make people pay for that sin. We'll let them gift us with a wild pitch, error or something of that nature, but we just don't seem to have "it" for getting those timely hits.

We've been that way all year and I got blasted on Sixpack a couple of weeks ago for pointing that out. Its one of the reasons I was so pumped last week when Ammo got the 2 out 2 RBI single last Saturday against Auburn because we just don't normally hit when we get men on base in key situations. I had ZERO faith that Frost would do anything other than what he did tonight with the game on the line. Last year's team pulled a number of games out at the end but so far this year's team has not been able to conjure up any late game heroics.

Both teams got some good breaks tonight -- and some bad ones. We played pretty well, we just got beat by 2 excellent pitchers and a great defensive team that did just enough situationally at the plate. For one of the few times thusfar this year, I feel like we just straight got beat.
