If we can be within 5 or have a chance to win the game in the final minutes, imagine the confidence these guys will have. Fred Thomas needs some confidence. He just doesn't have any right now. He had no Christmas holidays prior to the bowl game -- so he took a few days to go home and relax after it was over. People are trying to read way more into that than actually exists IMO. We will see soon enough what his actual gameplan is...

In the press conference Ray said he hasn't spoken to Mullen or Wilson yet. If he were going to play this year you know that Ray would have at least spoken to him. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that it is very strange for Ray to not even communicate with Wilson. I spoke to DeRunnya at the TCU game and he said he was playing, but I have a feeling things have changed.
