WARNING: THERE WILL BE SOME SARCARSM IN THE TWO TALKING POINTS BELOW!!!
For those who were rooting for FSU last night, all is well already. For those of us pulling for the SEC, here's a little dose of silver lining to wrap around the end of the SEC streak and to get ready for starting a new one in January 2015.
1) Auburn, oh Auburn , there is no one in the SEC who deserves this more. Dawgs, there isn't another SEC school we'd rather see be the one to drop the streak, not even Ole Miss, because we all know they would just claim the title anyway. The other school would have the trophy but anyone would know that the Bears pass the eyetest and are the true national champions because they were clearly the best team in the country. It wouldn't matter if they lost 34-31 or 34-0. While the circus would be amusing I just don't wanna deal with 'em.
2) There is no other non-SEC school we'd rather see break the streak beside FSU and perhaps Clemson. Why? Because the 'Noles have turned college football on it's head and shifted the power base from the South to...... the South.
